About Project SEARCH

Project SEARCH is designed as an Internship that partners with SDSU, Project SEARCH is a unique program for students who are 18-21 years old with disabilities.  Students who want to work have the chance to explore careers and develop transferable skills.

Five days a week Interns learn employability skills in the classroom and job skills while participating in real world jobs at SDSU. Interns learn transferable job skills through a series of job rotations lasting 10-12 weeks each that fit their strengths and skills. They receive support at their jobs through accommodations, adaptions and on the job coaching.

Students who have completed all academic requirements for graduation from high school may apply for enrollment in Project SEARCH
